Research Library
The Genealogical Society maintains a fine genealogical library at the
Bowman Museum, which is shared with the Museum. The collection
consists of books, manuscripts, magazines, newspapers, scrapbooks, and
microfiche.
The library's major focus is Crook County, Oregon genealogy, and local
history. There are unique materials on Crook County families. There is
also information on other counties in Oregon, research materials for all
States of the Union, as well as information about other countries.
Members and non-members have access to all research materials in the
library. The library is a convenient place for you to conduct your own
research, with guidance from the librarian and knowledgeable volunteers.
The library is open during Museum hours.
