field trips to points of interest around Old Crook County (the
boundaries of the county as they were prior to 1916). For each of
these events the Society produces a field guide full of the history of
the area, its pioneer families, meaningful events, and maps. After the
field trip, the guides are on sale at the Bowman Museum. Listed
below are the guides presently available. They are covered and
bound.
The guides vary in length depending on the amount of material
available about the area. Prices are based on the number of pages
and how recent the trip. Please note some of the ‘stops’ were on
private land and always with permission of the land owner.
Therefore, these guides should be considered for their information
value and not for use to revisit the private sites.
